OK...It's been awhile, I know. It goes without saying that the best way to kill a blog is to not post anything fresh. In my defense, there has been lots swirling 'round whether it be finding permanent employment, errands out of town or whatever lame excuse that no one will think is valid (and to an extent, with good reason).

The point is I am back and ready to become more vigilant with my postings. This is fortunate for readers on several fronts: 1) there will be new ways to kill time instead; 2) you will have some (hopefully) new things to listen to soon; 3) you will have some random musical commentary to annoy friends and family with; and 4)you will be privy to some of the new series of posts I hope to begin putting up including a spotlight on some local DC bands, some bands that you should know if you don't already, and some posts that look at music you may already know differently.

So here's to that! And, in my honor for being lazy, I give you The Slackers with "Wasted Days" off the album of the same name. After all, embarrassing phone messages aside, what have I done wrong that I should be sorry?
