Mix for Becky: Land's End

Insomnia is a terrible thing, but if you're going to suffer, you might as well turn your bleary-eyed, twitchy lemons into musical lemonade. That's why, last night, somewhere between an optimistic 2:00am and a cranky, defeated 4:30am, I made my girlfriend another mix.

The reason is simple. Rebecca is leaving her job, and this, my friends, is a VERY good thing. For Rebecca hates her job. Loathes it. And now, she gets to walk away. Tossing her "I live for caffeine" coffee mug into the trash and tearing the "Get Fuzzy" cartoons off her beige cubicle wall. Rebecca is a liberated woman. In September, she will take her rightful place in the hallowed libraries of academia, where she will pursue a Masters in Library Science.

This is my soundtrack for her moment. Done with work. Not yet begun with school. Hopefully, madly in love with yours truly.
